A primeira semana de Julho vai ser de pura
adrenalina na Vila de Cascais com a prova NOS Air Race Championship.
De 4 a 6 de Julho, vão estar no céu de Cascais em simultâneo
16 aviões numa corrida única em tempo real. Num misto entre a Red Bull Air Race
e Reno Air Race (EUA), o Nos Air Race Championship terá três dias de duração.
Tal como na Fórmula 1, terá fase de treinos, qualificação e corrida
propriamente dita.
Mais de 500 mil pessoas são esperadas em
Cascais, entre sexta-feira e domingo, para assistir a uma corrida de aeronaves
inédita em Portugal, que conjuga a competição com o espectáculo acrobático.
Uma prova inovadora que vai aliar a beleza
natural da Baía de Cascais a uma competição aeronáutica. O NOS Air Race
Championship não é um apenas uma corrida de aviões, é uma plataforma de
entretenimento para toda a família.
Tendo como base dois grandes eventos
aeronáuticos o Reno Air Race e Red Bull Air Race, surge agora o NOS Air Race
Championship. Este ano serão apresentadas duas categorias, uma com aviões
iguais YAK 52 (Vintage class) e outra intitulada Extreme Class com Extra
300/330, Sukoi e CAP 230 que irão voar em simultâneo no mesmo circuito,
pilotados pelos melhores pilotos do mundo, em voo baixo e ao alcance visual de
toda a audiência.
O evento conta com a aprovação logística e
de segurança pelas entidades: CMC, PROTEÇÃO CIVIL, NAV, CP, INAC, MARINHA e
FAP. A equipa de gestão do projecto é altamente qualificada e competente nas
áreas técnicas e de produção.
O local de intervenção vai desde a marina
de Cascais ao Tamariz no Estoril e tem nesse percurso diversas zonas técnicas e
de apoio: Sponsors Sky Lounge village, Boat Ocean View VIP and ledwalls para interacção
com o público.

The first
week of July will have a lot of adrenaline in the village of Cascais with NOS Air Race Championship.
From July 4th to 6th, 16 aircraft in a single run in real time will be in heaven in Cascais. A mix
between Red Bull Air Race and Reno Air Race (USA), In the Air Race Championship
will have three days duration. As in Formula 1, will stage practice, qualifying
and race itself.

circuit, piloted by the best riders in the world, in flight low and within
sight of the entire audience.
The event

the technical and production areas.
The
assignment location extends from Cascais marina to Tamariz in Estoril and this
route has several technical areas and support: Sponsors Sky Lounge village,
Boat and Ocean View VIP LEDwalls for interaction with the public.
